Hyderabad: BRS leader S Niranjan Reddy criticized the handcuffing of farmers in Alampur on Wednesday. He called the current leadership “a monstrous government” rather than one supporting farmers.
In his statement, Niranjan Reddy expressed outrage at the treatment of farmers, known as ‘Annadatas’ or food providers. He accused the government of having a tyrannical mindset. According to him, the situation resembles an “Emergency rule” rather than Indiramma's governance. He claimed that those who challenge the government face false charges. Niranjan Reddy blamed the Congress for the challenges faced by farmers and agriculture since they assumed power. He demanded an immediate apology to the farmers in Nadigadda.
