Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the Congress party responded to former Minister Jagadish Reddy‘s statements, calling them false. They claim the previous BRS government did not provide any water to the old Nalgonda district. MLC Addanki Dayakar criticized that no irrigation projects were built.
In a statement, he argued that Jagadishwar Reddy‘s words lacked truth. The MLC accused the BRS MLA of making false claims without actual project development and failing to deliver water to Nalgonda. He blamed the former government for leading the state into financial trouble and not completing the SLBC project tunnel. He challenged whether the BRS built any projects as durable as Nagarjunasagar and Srisailam.
The MLC noted that people were content under the Congress government after removing the BRS, which he said deceived Telangana and Nalgonda for ten years. He advised Jagadish Reddy to consider CM Revanth Reddy‘s comprehensive development plan for Nalgonda before making conclusions.
