Hyderabad: The BRS party on Friday criticized the job calendar released by the government, calling it fake. They were unhappy with the Congress party for not delivering on their job promises.
BRS working president KTR led a protest at Gun Park. He voiced concerns of the youth and unemployed. “Rahul Gandhi came to Ashok Nagar and promised two lakh jobs in the first year. Nine months ago, they made a big show about jobs. They falsely claimed that KCR did not provide any jobs,” KTR said. He added that the unemployed were ready to confront Congress members if seen outside.
KTR questioned the authenticity of the job calendar. “If it is real, why are there not even two jobs in it? If they have the courage, Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy should come to Ashok Nagar. We will come too. If you say you have given even one job, we will all resign. They claim the 30,000 jobs we provided as theirs,” he stated.
He accused Congress leaders of deceiving the unemployed by promising change. He said they provoked the unemployed and youth for votes and power. The job calendar, according to him, is fake and only contains dates. When BRS wanted to discuss it, the Speaker didn’t allow it. KTR emphasized the importance of addressing the issue of two lakh jobs for the unemployed. He accused the Congress of avoiding this discussion.
Regarding MLA Danam Nagender’s comments, KTR said the MLA used cheap language. “Our MLA Kova Lakshmi said she couldn’t listen to that language and asked us to leave. When we question the government on behalf of Telangana youth, do you insult us with such filthy language?” KTR asked.
KTR accused the Chief Minister of inciting everyone and using abusive language for enjoyment. “Such actions will not last long. Revanth Reddy should remember this. In the last five or six days of Assembly, nothing happened. They spread false information about Hyderabad and claimed the State is in debt. We proved the State is prosperous with calculations, and they had nothing to say,” he added.
