The BRS party faced a setback in the Supreme Court as their petition to prevent other parties from using symbols similar to a car was rejected. The BRS party had approached the court to address the issue of symbols allotted to parties and candidates in elections. They specifically requested that symbols like road roller and chapati maker not be allocated in future elections. However, the court rejected their petition after hearing it on Friday.

In the previous election, symbols similar to a car were allotted and received thousands of votes. This affected the BRS party as they believed it damaged the brand of their car. As a result, they decided to approach the Supreme Court for resolution.
