The BRS party is organizing an important meeting with their MLCs at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday. The purpose of the meeting is to prepare the members of the Legislative Council for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. During the Assembly elections, the party appointed in-charges for different segments, and now the MLCs will be appointed as in-charges for the Lok Sabha constituencies.

Party leaders believe that this move by the high command will help fill gaps within the party cadre, overcome the shock of the defeat, and prepare for the Lok Sabha elections. They see the Lok Sabha elections as crucial for the party’s success. If the party performs poorly in these elections, it would send a negative message to the people and the cadre, posing a risk of party members leaving.

To avoid repeating mistakes made during the Assembly elections, the party plans to appoint MLCs as in-charges. This decision aims to show leaders that those who work towards the party’s victory will be rewarded in the future. Additionally, the party has started conducting review meetings for each Lok Sabha segment to increase their chances of winning a majority of seats this time.
