The BRS party in Hyderabad has accused the Congress party of violating the model code of conduct. They have demanded that the Election Commission stop TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy from campaigning. BRS leaders, led by Soma Bharat, met with the Chief Electoral Officer to express their concerns. Bharat stated that the Congress party is disregarding the law and the commission by inciting violence through their speeches. He mentioned that Revanth Reddy had made statements calling for violence and insulting Telangana culture. Bharat questioned whether elections are meant to incite violence and expressed disappointment that the EC has not taken any action despite multiple complaints. The BRS party has urged the EC to pay attention to maintaining law and order and take immediate action against Revanth Reddy. They emphasized that they will not tolerate violence and warned that the system could fall into the hands of anarchic forces if action is not taken.
