Former MLA P Vishnuvardhan Reddy, a Congress leader, recently met with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, sparking rumors of his potential joining of the BRS party. It is expected that Reddy will officially join the BRS in the near future.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy, the son of former Congress leader P Janardan Reddy, previously served as an MLA from Khairatabad and Jubilee Hills during Chief Minister YS Rajashekhar Reddy’s term. However, the Congress party denied him a ticket for the upcoming elections. Instead, the Jubilee Hills ticket was given to former Indian cricket team captain Md Azharuddin. In response, Reddy expressed shock and stated that he would consult with party members before making a decision. After discussing with party leaders, Reddy ultimately decided to join the BRS.
