The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, has been criticized for not improving the education standards in state universities. R S Praveen Kumar, the chief of Bahujan Samaj Party Telangana, made these remarks during a meeting at Public Gardens in Hanumakonda. He accused the government of neglecting university education and favoring private universities. He also mentioned that poor students are facing difficulties as the government has not released the pending fee reimbursement of Rs 2,500 crore. Praveen claimed that the Mana Ooru – Mana Badi program is only benefiting contractors.

If the BSP comes to power, they plan to establish a Sainik School in all 33 districts and allocate Rs 75,000 per student through the Bahujan Vidyarthi Bharosa initiative. They also aim to revolutionize education by introducing coding and artificial intelligence as a fourth language for students from Class VIII to Intermediate. The BSP intends to establish Jambava Student Parks and coaching centers with AC facilities in 12,000 villages. They will also provide free WiFi and computer facilities to students.
