    A 20-year-old engineering student named Ajitesh has gone missing. He is in his third year at Srinidhi Engineering College. His father, Ramakrishna, filed a missing person’s report with the Pocharam police after being unable to get in touch with him.

    Ajitesh is originally from Karimnagar and had been living in a rented room in Yamnampet with his friends while studying. On March 23, he traveled back to Karimnagar and returned to his rented room on March 28.

    On March 29, Ajitesh told his family and roommates that he was going to Warasiguda to meet a friend. Later that evening, when his father tried to call him, Ajitesh’s phone was switched off.

    Worried, Ramakrishna contacted his son’s roommates. They said Ajitesh had indeed planned to meet a friend in Warasiguda. But when no further information was available and Ajitesh did not return, his father chose to go to the police.

    The Pocharam police have now registered a missing person’s case. They have started an investigation and are checking Ajitesh’s last known movements and contacts to try to find him.
