Prakash Reddy mentioned that the contestants might participate in a meditation session at Buddhavanam on May 12, which is Buddha Purnima. Around 140 contestants from 140 countries, including 30 representatives from Asia, will take part in the Miss World contest.

Authorities are working to highlight Buddhavanam not just as a tourist attraction but also as a meditation center.
