A jewellery store on the Hyderabad–Warangal highway within Medipally police limits was allegedly burgled in the early hours of Monday, according to preliminary information.
The burglars reportedly bent the store’s shutter and broke the glass display before fleeing with diamond jewellery valued at more than ₹2 crore.
Medipally police and a Clues Team inspected the scene and collected evidence as part of the investigation.
Police are examining how the suspects entered and the routes they may have used to escape. Further details are awaited.
