    The city of Hyderabad is starting to celebrate Holi, a colorful festival. Some resorts on the outskirts have already held celebrations. In places like Madhapur, there are arrangements for sundowner parties that last for two days. Holi-2024 celebrations took place at the HMDA ground in Kukatpally junction, organized by the country club. International DJ group Sidero, Pilix, Ajay, and Nitin provided music entertainment, while movie stars Sejal Mandaviya, Twinkle Kapoor, and Madhulagnadas performed dance.

    Hyderabad is home to people from different cultures and states who come together to celebrate Holi. Rajasthani people in Begambazar and Siddi Amberbazar also celebrate with traditional rituals like Kamadahana before Holi. Sindhis in Secunderabad celebrate for five days, while Biharis celebrate for two days with special yarn beating rituals. Banjara Hills also has a similar cultural celebration.

    In Banjara Hills, Lambadis living in Venkateswara Nagar celebrate Holi by offering prayers to Goddess Sita Mata and dancing in traditional clothes. Hindus and Muslims in the Basti participate in Dulandi together to strengthen their kinship. The corporate sector in areas like Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills join in the celebrations, with ten families celebrating together near Oke.

    Holi celebrations in Hyderabad also include delicious food traditions. Southern delicacies like pastries and Kolkata flavors such as Kachoras and Dahi Ballas are popular. Sweets like Rasgulla, Ras Malai, and Chum Chum are in high demand, along with special dishes like GUJIYAS made with sorghum, jaggery, and coconut. Restaurants prepare and serve these delicacies specially for the festive occasion.
