The Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad celebrated ‘International Biodiversity Day’ to educate visitors. Deputy curator Nagamani opened a clay modelling workshop with 800 participants. Visitors enjoyed learning about wild animals and birds.
In the afternoon, a millets exhibition was held in collaboration with ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research. Nine varieties of millets were showcased, highlighting their importance.
