    The grand celestial wedding of Lord Venkateswara Swamy took place at the Sri Padma Goda Sametha Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Singapuram, Huzurabad Mandal, on Wednesday. The event was a magnificent spectacle, attracting a large number of devotees who gathered to witness the divine ceremony.

    The wedding was performed according to sacred scriptures, with Vedic scholars chanting mantras throughout the rituals. One of the scholars, Panatula Megharaj Sharma, explained the significance of the wedding ceremonies and the merits of donating a bride, captivating the audience with his commentary.

    Several dignitaries and temple officials attended the event. Among them were temple chairman Captain V. Lakshmi Kanta Rao, former MLA Vodithala Satish Kumar, retired district judge Devi Prasad, and prominent industrialist Poddutoori Narayana Reddy. Many other respected individuals and members of the Vodithala family also participated in the occasion.

    As part of the celebrations, a special Homam (fire ritual) was conducted over three days. The Poornahuti, the concluding part of the ritual, was performed amidst Vedic chanting. Following this, the Lord was taken on a Garuda vehicle, and devotees enthusiastically joined the chariot festival, chanting “Govinda Namam.”

    The three-day Brahmotsavams concluded on Wednesday evening. Special arrangements were made to ensure that devotees could participate comfortably. At the end of the ceremonies, devotees received the sacred Tirtha Prasadam as a blessing.

    For the Kalyana Mahotsavam, the temple was beautifully decorated with electric lights and flower garlands. The idols of Lord Venkateswara and the Goddess were adorned with special decorations. Vedic scholars, including Panathula Megha Raj Sharma, Kashyap Sharma, Kashojjala Rajeshwar Sharma, and temple priests, recited Vedic scriptures throughout the event, adding to the spiritual atmosphere.
