Asifabad, Telangana – The district is preparing for a high-profile visit on May 5, as Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, is set to inaugurate the new 4-lane National Highway-363.
On Saturday, District Collector Venkatesh Dotre led a review meeting at the Integrated District Collectorate conference hall. He emphasized the need for smooth arrangements ahead of the visit by central ministers.
The Collector directed officials to set up a helipad near Kagaznagar X Road, where the ministers will land. He also instructed that all preparations be completed promptly for the public gathering that will follow the inauguration.
“All departments must work efficiently. Make sure there are no issues during the visit,” said Dotre. He stressed the importance of handling all responsibilities professionally to avoid any interruptions or delays.
Security will be tightened around the helipad, the event stage, and areas designated for media and VIP guests. The Collector also asked for proper systems to manage entry passes, vehicle parking, refreshments, and drinking water for attendees.
He warned against traffic jams and urged all officials to coordinate closely to ensure smooth movement throughout the event.
The meeting included key personnel from the National Highways Authority and other government departments. Additional Collectors Deepak Tiwari and David, Kagaznagar Sub-Collector Shraddha Shukla, Additional SP Prabhakar Rao, and Asifabad ASP Chittaranjan were present to oversee planning and execution.
With the spotlight on NH-363’s inauguration, local authorities are working around the clock to ensure the event goes off without a hitch.
