SRI CITY: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated 16 new industries in the Sri City industrial area on Monday. The industrial area is located in the Satyavedu constituency of Tirupati district.
These industries were set up with a total investment of around Rs 1,570 crore. They are expected to create direct and indirect job opportunities for about 8,480 young people.
In addition to the inaugurations, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for eight more industries. These upcoming industries will involve an investment of ₹900 crore and are projected to provide jobs to 2,740 youth.
The event was attended by several key figures, including State Industries Minister T.G. Bharat, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, and DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao. Local MLAs K. Adhimoolam and Vijayasri, along with representatives from various industries and Sri City officials, were also present at the ceremony.
