    Hyderabad witnessed an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation as the nation eagerly awaited the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s South Pole. In schools and places of worship, thousands of people gathered to witness this historic moment. Many schools in Hyderabad even telecasted the live landing to celebrate the achievements of Indian scientists.

    In the city, groups of enthusiastic students eagerly watched the landing, holding the Indian flag and models of rockets. Many students expressed their desire to become space scientists. Private schools made special arrangements to telecast the event, setting up screens and projectors, while government schools shared the link with students to watch at home. Schools also organized special programs to educate students about the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

    Rajani Rao, a class 10 student, joyfully exclaimed, “India is on the Moon now!” She emphasized the importance of never giving up, drawing inspiration from the scientists’ perseverance after the failure of Chandrayaan-2. Another student, Seema, proudly stated that she finally had the opportunity to learn about the Chandrayaan missions through the live telecast. She expressed her pride in India’s achievement and shared how their school had organized various activities related to the moon and rocket launches.

    Abhishikha, a class 10 student from a government school, shared her excitement during the live telecast and how it inspired her to become a scientist working in ISRO. Sravanti, a private school teacher, highlighted the significance of this event for students, as it was their first time witnessing a Chandrayaan landing. Mamatha, another private school teacher, mentioned that schools followed instructions from the Education department to host the event both physically and online. This live telecast provided students with valuable knowledge about milestones in lunar exploration.

    Overall, the landing of Chandrayaan-3 was a monumental occasion for all, particularly for students who gained insights into the achievements and discoveries related to the Moon.
