Fans clashed outside the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians were set to play in the IPL 2023 Qualifier 2. People who had booked tickets online had to collect their physical tickets from the stadium before the match, leading to chaos and disorder. A video of fans jostling for tickets went viral on social media before the police intervened.

The Narendra Modi Stadium will also host the final match of the Indian Premier League on Sunday. Chennai Super Kings have already reached the final after beating Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1. If all goes well, Mumbai Indians and CSK will face each other in the final. This is the third meeting between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians in the ongoing season, with both teams winning one game each.
