Chevella accident: Bus and driver not responsible says RTC

Hyderabad: Officials from the RTC have provided details about the Chevella bus accident. Expressing deep shock, RTC released a statement explaining the incident. Investigations revealed that the accident was caused by the excessive speed of the tipper truck. The driver lost control due to high speed on a road curve. RTC clarified that neither the RTC bus nor its driver was responsible for the accident. The driver’s service record also showed no previous accidents.

Near Khanapur-Mirzaguda Gate in the Ranga Reddy district, a tipper truck collided with an RTC bus, resulting in the tragic death of 20 people. Forty others were injured and rushed to the hospital. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and Minister Ponnam Prabhakar have already expressed their shock over this incident.
