Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy called on British companies to collaborate in the Musi Rejuvenation project. This initiative aims to enhance Hyderabad as a top global city.
Lindy Cameron, the British High Commissioner, led a delegation to meet the Chief Minister on Thursday. They discussed state government efforts to boost manufacturing and attract investments in Telangana. The Chief Minister urged British investors to explore opportunities in the GCC, Pharma, Knowledge, and Academy sectors.
Lindy Cameron expressed the UK’s willingness to support in Education and Technology. The Chief Minister highlighted the draft Telangana Education Policy. Cameron agreed to co-fund the Chevening scholarship for outstanding students from Telangana.
Additionally, the British government plans to offer training for Telangana’s government teachers and professors. Revanth Reddy suggested establishing UK university branches in Hyderabad for local students studying at UK institutions.
