Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the Khairatabad Vinayaka on Friday. He performed special pujas for Bojja Ganapayya before the planned immersion of the Khairatabad Maha Ganapati on Saturday. The Chief Minister praised the efforts of the Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Committee, who have been organizing this festival for 71 years.

“The Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava started 71 years ago and has become a nationwide celebration,” he said. “I commend the festival committee for organizing this prestigious event despite challenges and losses.”

He emphasized the government’s dedication to the festival, saying, “We provide free electricity to Ganesh mandapams, a unique initiative in the country, ensuring the festivals occur smoothly.” He assured that all preparations for the Maha Ganapati immersion were complete. He also commended Hyderabad for its religious harmony and noted the positive impact of the Khairatabad Ganesh festival on Telangana’s reputation.

On the same day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with a delegation from Germany’s Bebig Medical Company, led by Chairman and CEO George Chan. The company showed interest in setting up a medical equipment manufacturing unit in Telangana. Revanth Reddy promised full government support and directed officials to find suitable locations and address any issues. He also encouraged the company to consider establishing radiation centers for cancer treatment in government hospitals alongside their operations.
