    Hyderabad: The State chief secretary A Santhi Kumari has instructed officials to prepare for the visit of Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankar on April 26. She held a meeting with officials to check the arrangements.

    The Vice-President will visit Genome Valley and attend a private function before heading back to New Delhi on the same day. Santhi Kumari asked the police department to provide security, traffic management, and other necessary arrangements following the blue book guidelines.

    The health department was told to have medical staff and supplies ready at all venues in coordination with the police and protocol department. The R&B department was tasked with repairing roads used by the Vice-President during his visit.

    The Energy department was instructed to ensure uninterrupted power supply, while the Fire Services department was asked to have firefighting equipment ready. Santhi Kumari urged all departments to work together to ensure a smooth and successful visit for the Vice-President. DGP Ravi Gupta, principal secretary (Revenue) Navin Mittal, and other officials were present at the meeting.
