Chief Secretary assesses preparations for women’s conference

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari recently held a meeting to discuss the upcoming State Women’s Conference at Secunderabad Parade Grounds. She emphasized the importance of making appropriate arrangements for the nearly one lakh self-help women members who will be attending, to ensure they have a smooth experience.

Santhi Kumari directed that the premises should have enough seats, drinking water, mobile toilets, and other necessary infrastructure. She also instructed for parking facilities to be set up for buses coming from different districts, with signboards to guide them to their designated seating areas. The Chief Secretary emphasized the need for adequate seating for public representatives and participating women, as well as setting up systems like microphones and barricades.

The meeting was attended by various officials including DGP Ravi Gupta, Additional DG Abhilash Bist, City Police Commissioner Srinivasa Reddy, and others. The presence of key figures from departments such as PR & RD, GHMC, Panchayat Raj, and District Collectors highlighted the collaborative effort to ensure a successful conference. Other officials from the Cultural Department, Police Department, and Roads and Buildings Department also participated in the meeting.
