Rangarajan believes that the minister’s comments, which go against the fundamental rights of the Constitution and disrespect Hindu deities, are not appropriate for someone in a constitutional position.

Rangarajan stated that since the Chief Justice has promised to address cases of hate speech, it is important for him to take note of this situation. He also urged the people of Tamil Nadu to vote for candidates who believe in Sanatana Dharma.
