Reacting to the controversy surrounding Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks on ‘Sanatana Dharma’, the head priest of Chilkur Balaji temple, CS Rangarajan, has urged the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to take action. Rangarajan believes that the minister’s comments, which go against the fundamental rights of the Constitution and disrespect Hindu deities, are not appropriate for someone in a constitutional position.

Rangarajan stated that since the Chief Justice has promised to address cases of hate speech, it is important for him to take note of this situation. He also urged the people of Tamil Nadu to vote for candidates who believe in Sanatana Dharma.

Meanwhile, Sinkaru Shivaji, the Telangana State president of Shiv Sena, strongly criticized the minister’s statement, describing it as an attack on the entire Hindu community. He questioned the minister’s intentions and expressed concern about the impact on peace and security in society.

In addition, P Balaswamy, the Prachar Pramukh of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), issued a strong statement warning that the VHP will not stay silent and will not hesitate to teach the minister a lesson. He demanded that the minister be immediately dismissed and a case be filed for disrespecting the Hindu religion.
