Chinna Reddy named as vice chairman of Planning Board

The State government appointed Dr. G Chinna Reddy as the Vice Chairman of the Telangana State Planning Board, with the rank of Cabinet Minister. This appointment was announced in a Government Order released by Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari. The State Planning Board plays a crucial role in planning and development, helping formulate the State budget, conducting socio-economic surveys, and creating five-year plans.

Dr. Chinna Reddy is currently the chairman of Pradesh Congress Committee’s disciplinary action committee. He has previously served as a minister in Unified Andhra Pradesh, as well as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee and Andhra Pradesh Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. He was also a former Congress MLA from Wanaparthy, hailing from Jayanna Tirmalapur village in Mahbubnagar district.

Dr. Chinna Reddy holds a doctorate from a Malaysian University and is a Law Graduate from Osmania University. He was first elected as an MLA in 1989 from the Wanaparthy constituency.
