Hyderabad: A city-based techie named Syed Khalid Saifullah has been appointed as the vice chairman of the Indian National Congress’s Data and Technology Department. This appointment was made by AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.
Khalid has played an important role in developing several key initiatives for the Congress party. He created the crowd funding platform ‘donateinc’ and the manifesto idea management portal ‘awaazbharaki’. He also developed a photo search AI tool for the Bharat Jodo Yatra and built a membership portal for the All India Mahila Congress.
Before joining the Congress party, Khalid was already well-known for his contributions to social welfare. He developed applications such as the Missing Voters App, Free Ration App, and Free Oxygen App, which helped many people in need.
