The poster war between political parties has started again in Hyderabad. Ahead of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the city, sarcastic posters against Congress leaders have been put up in Shamshad. One banner at the airport says, “Welcome to the Congress leaders who have taken the lives of Telangana’s children.” The banners also feature pictures of Telangana martyrs like Srikantha Chary and Yadi Reddy.

This kind of poster war is not new for the city. In the past, similar posters were seen when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state. During the National Executive Meeting of the BJP held in Hyderabad, there were posters against the Prime Minister.
