Differences within the Hyderabad Congress unit were once again on display on Thursday, this time in the Jubilee Hills constituency. Azharuddin, a leader of the party and former captain of Team India, organized a meeting in Rehmat Nagar within the constituency. However, the meeting was disrupted by followers of PJR’s son, Vishnuvardhan Reddy.
Vishnu’s followers complained that they were not informed about the meeting taking place in their constituency. This led to an argument between Azharuddin’s followers and Vishnu’s followers, eventually escalating into a fight. The police were alerted and arrived at the scene to disperse both groups.
Meanwhile, there is speculation that Azharuddin will be contesting the upcoming election on behalf of Congress from the Jubilee Hills constituency.
