    The Akshaya Patra Foundation will provide breakfast to schools in urban areas. In villages, Women Self Help Groups will be responsible for supplying nutritious food in the morning.

    On October 6, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will launch the “CM Breakfast” scheme in Rangareddy district. The program will provide nutritious food to all students from elementary to high school up to 10th grade. Each Assembly Constituency will select one school to start the program on the same day. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and MLCs have been invited to attend the launch of the breakfast scheme in government schools.

    The School Education department has been instructed by Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to make necessary arrangements for the launch. Akshaya Patra Foundation will supply breakfast to schools in urban areas, while Women Self Help Groups will supply morning nutritious food in villages.

    During a meeting, the Chief Secretary also discussed arrangements for the Bathukamma festival and the distribution of Bathukamma sarees to women during the festive season. The distribution of sports kits to promote sports among youth was also discussed. 18,000 sports kits, including T-Shirts and four sports kits, will be distributed to the youth.

    All officials have been asked to provide daily progress reports on the implementation of the breakfast scheme, Bathukamma saree distribution, and Sports Kits distribution program to the government.
