CM inaugurates multiple development projects in Wanaparthy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy visited Wanaparthy on Sunday, where he launched several development projects and visited the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple.

During his visit, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for multiple projects. These included the GGHC building, Young India Integrated Residential School building, ZPHS (boys) school & junior college building, Wanaparthy IT Tower, and a 30-bedded government hospital in Pebbair. He also initiated road works in the constituency and development activities related to the Srirangapuram temple.

At the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Revanth Reddy reviewed the ongoing development works. He offered prayers and interacted with temple authorities regarding the progress of various projects. He emphasized the need to preserve the temple’s spiritual and historical significance while also improving amenities for pilgrims. Officials briefed him on construction and renovation efforts, which include better pathways, sanitation improvements, and enhanced accommodation facilities for visitors.

The Chief Minister also met with local leaders and district officials to discuss further development plans. He assured them that the government would provide full support to transform the temple into a major spiritual destination in Telangana.

As part of the Indiramma Minority Mahila Shakti scheme, Revanth Reddy distributed sewing machines and handed over allotment orders to minority women beneficiaries. Telangana Minority Finance Corporation chairman Mohd Obedulla Kothwal thanked the Chief Minister for this initiative, which aims to support poor and trained minority women through self-employment.

Kothwal announced that 10,490 sewing machines would be distributed in the first phase across nine districts, while the remaining 31,740 machines would be given out in the second phase across the state.
