    Hyderabad: Chief Minister KCR presided over a high-level meeting on the irrigation department at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat. Ministers, officials from the irrigation department were present at the meeting. In view of the delayed monsoon, KCR is discussing the status of the crop cultivation in the state. He is also discussing with the ministers and officials about the water situation in the reservoirs.

    The Chief Minister emphasized on the need to ensure that farmers have access to water for irrigation. He directed the officials to take necessary measures to address the water scarcity in the state. KCR also instructed them to closely monitor the water levels in reservoirs and take appropriate steps to manage water distribution among the farmers.

    During the meeting, various issues related to irrigation were discussed, including the implementation of irrigation projects, availability of water for agriculture, and measures to improve water conservation.     KCR also expressed concern over the delay in monsoon and its impact on crop cultivation. He urged all departments to work together and take necessary steps to mitigate the effects of water scarcity on farmers. The Chief Minister assured farmers that the government is committed to providing them with all necessary support and assistance during this challenging time.
