Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced several welfare initiatives for the tribal community under various development programs. Among the key decisions, the CM declared that the state government will officially celebrate the birth and death anniversaries of tribal warrior Komuram Bheem every year as a State function. He instructed State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to issue immediate orders for this.

The Chief Minister held a special meeting with tribal organizations and community leaders at the Secretariat on Friday. During the meeting, he addressed concerns about cases registered against youth during protests, stating that such cases could negatively impact their future, especially in terms of job opportunities. He assured the community that steps would be taken to withdraw all such cases and, if necessary, the government would pass a resolution to facilitate this.
