Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has assured industrialists that his government will give full support to every investment in Telangana. Speaking at the curtain raiser for the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 in New Delhi, he said, “I take responsibility for policy decisions on investments, government assistance, and providing necessary support.” He urged investors to use the security, opportunities, and favourable conditions the state offers.
Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal was the chief guest. State ministers, public representatives, representatives of Indian missions in various countries, CII representatives, industrialists, and industry delegates attended. Ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Vivek Venkatswamy, Vakiti Srihari, and Mohammad Azharuddin were present. Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, CII Telangana Chairman M. Gautam Reddy, and CII President (Designate) and Bharat Biotech Managing Director Suchitra K. Ella also spoke.
The Chief Minister made a direct request to investors. “Decide on a figure in your mind for how much you want to invest in Telangana and double that amount. Double the growth rate and profits you expect from it. Tell me what you need for that,” he said. He added that ensuring the security and growth of investments is his personal responsibility, and that he “will stand as the protector” of investments. He said he came to listen to investors and that removing obstacles in their path is his job.
He invited everyone to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, to be held at Bharat Future City, Hyderabad, on December 7, 8, and 9. He described the state’s growth plan in line with the Viksit Bharat 2047 goal. Under Telangana Rising 2047, the state wants a 10% share if India becomes a $30 trillion economy by 2047. Telangana’s current share in the country’s GDP is 5%.
Revanth Reddy said his goal is to make Telangana a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He asked investors to share ideas and policy suggestions, which the government will examine and implement. He also spoke about Centre-state cooperation. If the Centre sets up 7 high-speed rail corridors in the country, 3 will connect to Hyderabad, on the Hyderabad-Chennai, Hyderabad-Bengaluru, and Hyderabad-Pune routes.
He said the Centre is also building two new airports, in Warangal and Adilabad, and is cooperating on the Regional Ring Road, metro rail expansion, and the Navy Radar Center. He described Hyderabad’s history, infrastructure, and talent pool, and said the aim is for the city to compete with New York, London, Tokyo, Seoul, and Dubai. “Telangana is rising. Be partners in this journey of progress,” the Chief Minister said.
