Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has made a promise to form a committee to look into the classification of Scheduled Castes (SC) in the state. This committee will work to ensure that justice is provided to all communities based on its findings.
Leaders and representatives from the Mala community, including members of the Mala Mahanadu and other public figures, met with the Chief Minister at the Ambedkar State Secretariat. They urged him to make sure that the SC classification follows the guidelines set by the Supreme Court. They emphasized the importance of fair treatment for both the Mala and Madiga communities.
The representatives explained the need to prevent any injustice against the Mala community during the SC classification process. Those who met with the Chief Minister included MLAs Vivek Venkataswamy, Matta Ragamayi, Chikkudu Vamsikrishna, K.R. Nagaraju, MP Gaddam Vamshi, and Mala Mahanadu leader Chennayya, among others.
