Hyderabad, October 27, 2025: Telangana Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Maulana Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed, the president of the Jamaat Ulema of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Remembering Maulana Hafiz’s remarkable contributions, the Chief Minister said he had played a vital role in addressing issues faced by the minority community and promoting communal harmony.
The Chief Minister visited Maulana Hafiz’s residence in Shaheen Nagar, Jalpally Municipality, to offer condolences to his bereaved family members and console them personally. He described Maulana Hafiz as a respected social worker who dedicated his life to fostering unity between Hindus and Muslims, creating a positive environment of peace and understanding across communities.
CM Revanth Reddy stated that Maulana Hafiz’s demise is not only a great loss to the Muslim community but to the entire state of Telangana, noting that his selfless services will always be remembered.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister assured that the Telangana Government would continue to address minority issues in line with Maulana Hafiz’s vision and take necessary steps to honor his lifelong contributions to society.
