Cybercrime: 10 lakh rupees fraud using girl’s name

Cybercriminals in Hyderabad are constantly finding new ways to deceive people. Recently, a 42-year-old resident of Langer House fell victim to an online scam and lost nearly 10 lakh rupees. The scammers, posing as Sai Preeti, engaged in chat with the victim and convinced him to invest in an online trading scheme. Over time, he invested a total of 10 lakh rupees. When he couldn’t withdraw the promised profits, he realized the scam and reported it to the police. Authorities have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.
