Hyderabad: As part of Telangana Formation Day celebrations on June 2, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate the much-anticipated Shilpa Layout Phase-2 Flyover in Gachibowli, a major infrastructure milestone aimed at easing traffic congestion in the fast-growing IT corridor of Hyderabad.
The new flyover, located near Shilpa Layout junction, is expected to significantly improve vehicle flow between Gachibowli, Kondapur, and surrounding areas, which see high commuter volume due to IT offices, educational institutions, and residential hubs.
In addition to the inauguration, the Chief Minister will also lay foundation stones for multiple key road expansion projects across the city. These include:
IIT Junction road expansion

Road upgrades in Aminpur
These projects are part of the government’s broader plan to boost urban mobility, enhance infrastructure, and reduce bottlenecks across critical junctions in Hyderabad and adjoining areas.
Officials said the roadworks and flyover projects are aimed at not only reducing travel time but also promoting ease of living for citizens by improving safety and connectivity.
With Telangana marking its 11th Formation Day this year, the state government plans to highlight infrastructure achievements and launch new urban development initiatives as a testament to its governance agenda.
