District Collector B.M. Santosh has instructed officials to ensure that layout developments follow government regulations properly.
On Tuesday, he inspected layouts in Survey Numbers 898, 900, and 93 within the Gadwal Municipal limits. During his visit, he stressed the importance of following layout development rules and asked officials to provide necessary infrastructure as per the approved land development plans.
At Survey Number 898, the Collector checked the availability of basic amenities. He directed officials to install underground drainage lines and manholes properly. He also insisted on including internal roads, individual water connections, sewage lines, stormwater drainage, septic tanks, or a sewage treatment plant (STP) within the layout. Additionally, he emphasized the need to develop open spaces with greenery and build boundary walls.
In Survey Numbers 900 and 93, he reviewed the availability of water, approach roads, electricity, and drainage connections. He instructed officials to ensure all these essential services are provided. He also stressed that the land designated for the layout should be officially verified and that development should strictly follow government-approved plans.
Several officials accompanied him during the inspection, including Additional Collector Narsinga Rao, Municipal Commissioner Dasharath, Irrigation EE Srinivasa Rao, Town Planning Officer Kurmanna, Gadwal Tahsildar Mallikarjun, Assistant Engineers, and other officials.
