    District Collector Calls on Masons to Maintain High-Quality Standards in Indiramma Housing Construction

    District Collector B.M. Santosh has urged masons to make the most of training programs to improve their skills. He emphasized that quality construction is essential for Indiramma houses.

    On Tuesday, the District Collector attended a training program for masons at the old Collector’s office. The training is being conducted under the guidance of the National Academy of Construction (NAC) in collaboration with the Telangana State Government and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) scheme. The main goal of the program is to ensure high-quality construction of Indiramma houses.

    During the event, the District Collector shared that the government is providing Rs. 5 lakh for each Indiramma house. He also mentioned that training is being offered to masons to ensure the houses are built with the best standards. He encouraged masons to take part in the training to learn cost-effective and high-quality construction techniques.

    Additionally, he announced that the government is giving financial support of Rs. 300 per day to every mason attending the six-day training. The training focuses on modern construction techniques, proper use of materials, and safety measures. He urged the trainees to share their knowledge with others to improve construction quality across the district.

    As part of the program, the District Collector distributed T-shirts and tool kits to the masons. He encouraged them to take responsibility for their work and ensure the construction of durable and high-standard houses.

    The event was attended by Housing Department Project Director Bhaskar, DE Narendra, AE Prakash, NAC officer Shiva Shankar, along with several masons and other officials.
