Gadwal: District Collector B.M. Santhosh has instructed Tahsildars to quickly address pending applications under the state’s ‘Bhoobharathi’ program.
On Wednesday, the Collector held a meeting with Tahsildars from each mandal at the District Collectorate Conference Hall. They discussed applications received during Bhoobharathi Revenue Conferences. The Collector checked on how many applications were resolved, how many remain pending, notices issued, and the status of field verifications.
Concerned about delays, he questioned Tahsildars from mandals with high pendency and asked for explanations. He urged officials to finish field verifications and resolve online applications promptly. Special focus was given to modules like succession, pending mutations, PoP (Proof of Possession), and D-S (Demarcation and Survey). Officials were asked to take necessary actions and ensure thorough resolution.
He stressed that application rejections must be documented with valid reasons. A special committee will investigate issues related to assigned lands and submit a report soon. The Collector mentioned that actions taken in the coming week will be reviewed again.
He also directed that all pending MeeSeva certificate applications up to 2024 be resolved within one week. Most ration card applications have been addressed, and the rest must be cleared immediately. He ordered quick processing of new ration card issuances, member additions, and deletions.
The meeting included District Additional Collector (Revenue) Lakshminarayana, RDO Alivelu, AD Survey & Land Records Ramchander, and Tahsildars from across the district.
