People in the 17th Ward of Nagarkurnool participated in a relay hunger strike at BC Colony on Sripuram Road. The colony was established 15 years ago, but still lacks proper road facilities, making it difficult to enter during rainy seasons.

The residents of BC Colony, located far from the town, expressed their frustration during the hunger strike. They feel neglected and only remembered during elections. If their issues are not addressed soon, they plan to protest in front of the municipal office.

Residents are concerned that even emergency vehicles like ambulances cannot enter the colony. Despite the current municipal chairman being from the 17th ward, residents feel that their lives have not improved and their demands have been ignored for a week. They are demanding basic facilities for their colony.
