A common access passage to a shop in Hyderabad has been restored after a school teacher sought intervention from AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi. The teacher had recently secured possession of the property after a lengthy legal battle.

The teacher, who previously worked in Saudi Arabia, lost his job during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been struggling to support his ailing wife and two divorced daughters, according to the information provided.

He had spent nearly 10 years seeking possession of his shop against people he alleged were involved in a land grab. After regaining possession, he faced another problem when the common passage leading to the property was allegedly blocked by fresh encroachments.

The teacher brought the access issue to Owaisi’s attention and sought help. Owaisi directed Nampally MLA Majid Hussain to intervene and address the matter.

Hussain visited the site and inspected the situation. The alleged encroachments were removed, and the common passage was restored for use.

The MLA warned those responsible for the encroachments and the concerned officials that any attempt to repeat the activity would invite strict action.
