A two-day workshop called “Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan” was held in Hyderabad. It was attended by 200 participants from 25 districts. The workshop covered different topics related to entrepreneurship and how to achieve the goal of Swavalambi Bharat, which means “self-reliant India”. The speakers included people from various government sectors, as well as industrialists and entrepreneurs. They encouraged participants to become job providers instead of job seekers.
At the end of the workshop, there were several chief guests. They included people from Setwin, State Bank of India, IEDC, and RDP WorkStation Pvt Ltd. There were also speakers who talked about different employment opportunities in the MSME and tourism sectors. They discussed ways to improve production in organic products, cooperative societies, and how to secure bank loans and subsidies for new ventures.
The speakers said that “Rozgar Srujan Kendras” would be set up in every district across the country. This means that there will be more opportunities for people to start their own businesses and become self-reliant.
