Congress leaders in Hyderabad have criticized former MLA NVSS Prabhakar for his remarks about AICC (TS) incharge Deepa Dasmunshi. AICC spokesperson Sujata Paul, former MP Madhu Yashki Goud, MLC B Mahesh Kumar Goud, PCC vice president Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC spokesperson Addanki Dayakar, Mettu Sai Kumar, Chairman Fishermen cell, and many others have strongly condemned Prabhakar’s comments. They believe Prabhakar is seeking attention by attacking the West Bengal-based leader as he aims for the Malkajgiri seat from the BJP. Prabhakar accused Deepa Dasmunshi of accepting gifts like a ‘Benz car’ from influential leaders.
Earlier, NSUI State Vice President Adam Srujan Kumar and other student leaders burned an effigy of NVSS Prabhakar, calling his comments derogatory. They warned Prabhakar to retract his words or face agitation against him during the elections. The NSUI leader stated that the allegations against Deepa Dasmunshi were false and demanded Prabhakar to withdraw his statements.
