    Shadnagar MLA Supports the Poor Through Welfare Schemes

    Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar emphasized that the Congress government is committed to supporting the poor and ensuring their welfare.

    On Wednesday, the MLA distributed cheques totaling Rs 9,74,500 to 29 beneficiaries from various villages in the constituency. Additionally, he handed out Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques worth Rs 25,14,500 to 125 beneficiaries in Farooqnagar mandal.

    During the event, the MLA highlighted the efforts of the Revanth Reddy-led government in implementing programs aimed at improving the lives of the underprivileged. He stressed that the state government has made women’s welfare a top priority.

    To support women, the government has introduced initiatives such as free RTC bus travel and subsidized Rs 500 gas cylinders. The MLA also praised the CM Relief Fund, describing it as a valuable resource for the poor, and encouraged people to take full advantage of it.

    The event was attended by several notable individuals, including Market Committee Chairman Sulochana Krishna Reddy, Vice Chairman Babar Khan, MRO Parthasarathi, MPDO Bansilal, and other Congress leaders.
