The ruling Congress party celebrated Telangana Formation Day by honoring the sacrifices of many ‘martyrs’ at an event at Gandhi Bhavan. PCC working president B Mahesh Kumar Goud unfurled the tricolor in front of many party leaders. Attendees included Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Seethakka, Jupally Krishna Rao, and other senior leaders.
The CPI leaders also marked the occasion at their State headquarters Makhdoom Bhavan in Himayat Nagar by raising the national flag.
Overall, it was a day of remembrance and celebration for both political parties in Telangana.
