Hyderabad: Due to the heavy rains and floods that have caused significant damage and loss of life in Telangana, Congress leaders have decided to offer support.
Congress MLAs, MLCs, and MPs will donate two months of their salary to help with flood relief efforts.
This decision came after a suggestion from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud.
Minister for Legislative Affairs, Sridhar Babu, announced the decision on Sunday. The donations will go towards the ongoing flood relief operations organized by the State government.
