Labour Minister Malla Reddy is accused of making false claims about a land issue by State government whip Adluri Laxman. According to Laxman, in 2015, they purchased land from someone else in survey number 82/e. They found out that another former MLA also has land in the same survey number.

Laxman stated that they bought the land believing there were no disputes. He mentioned that he and 14 others bought land in the same survey number. Despite requesting Malla Reddy to participate in a survey of the land, he did not show up. Laxman also claimed that Malla Reddy did not respond to an injunction order related to the land issue.

Furthermore, Laxman alleged that when the BRS party was in power previously, Municipal minister K T Rama Rao advised Malla Reddy to resolve the land dispute, but Malla Reddy reportedly ignored the advice. Laxman suggested that a High Court judge should investigate Malla Reddy’s land holdings in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.

The Congress leader asserted that they will pursue legal action for their land and mentioned that they will also meet with the Chief Minister regarding the issue. In 2021, they sold the land in survey number 82/e to someone named Srinivas Reddy, who is currently facing difficulties with the land.
