The District Congress party leaders in Gadwal have raised concerns about corruption involving Vallur Kranti, the former Collector of Jogulamba Gadwal district in the previous government. It is alleged that Vallur Kranti worked for the BRS MLAs of the previous government and misused her authority as a collector to prevent corruption. Her father, Mr. Venkata Ranga Reddy, runs a gastro hospital in Kurnool and is involved in financial transactions and illegally uploading records and issuing pass books, causing problems for financially struggling farmers.

Specific instances of corruption have been highlighted, including manipulating land records and transactions in various villages. For example, lands were removed from restricted lists, disputed lands were placed in prohibited lists, and records of unrecorded lands were manipulated for personal financial gain. These actions have caused financial losses and legal violations.

They are urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind these corrupt practices and hold those responsible accountable.
