Congress party leader Thudi Megha Reddy has announced that he will run for the Wanaparthy constituency if the people support him. He promises to work hard for the constituency’s development and the welfare of its people.
During a speech in Pebbair, Megha Reddy criticized the party leadership for choosing a candidate who had lost their deposit in a previous election. He believes that the current party leaders in the district are ineffective and that voters will not support them. He wants to defeat the current MLA, who he claims is ignoring the concerns of the people. Megha Reddy expressed his disappointment that despite having water in the Peddamandadi branch canal, it is not being utilized properly and bills are not being paid.
Megha Reddy urged those who have not received double-bedroom houses to question the leaders of the BRS party when they ask for votes. He promised that if the Congress party is elected, everyone will benefit from government welfare schemes.
Megha Reddy revealed that he was initially chosen as the Congress party’s candidate, but for unknown reasons, it was given to former minister Chinnareddy. Despite this setback, he remains hopeful that the party will support him. Analysts believe that Megha Reddy could put up a strong fight for the Congress party in the Wanaparthy constituency.
